What's with all the Gackt died vandalism?

Every other week, I see someone posted a topic saying that Gackt had died. What's the point of this? Why does someone think it's funny to talk about a person like that... Today someone had, "December 2nd, 2008 Gackt was shot 8 times at the Narita Airport, by some unknown women wearing a mask of a Serpent. Although the indentity of the women is yet unknown, relatives believe that the shooter must of been a friend from high school who gained a certain affectional attachment to Gackt through the years." This person needs to learn how to spell too if he or she is going to try to vandalize...

hmm... it's possible that rumors of his "death" spread from a fake obituary back in 2007. I doubt it, though. Most likely it was just anti-fans at work, vandalizing the page. There's apparently an anti-gackt group on facebook and a few anti-gackt websites. It's possible that some of them are responsible for the vandalism. Why hate Gackt, Gackt isn't hurting anyone? Crazy people out there... Could it be a lot of people are tired of Gackt being the Basis of a lot of video game characters? He has only had one single hit #1 on the charts (even though he deserves better in my opinion!) so it's not like he is hurting the music scene. And from my experience - that claim is not accurate. Probably a third of the living people on my watchlist have been declared dead at least once - the only more common vandalism is to declare people gay which has happened on something like 70% of the articles. But neither of our opinions matters and this discussion has clearly wandered from improvements to the article. -- The Red Pen of Doom 18:52, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

As TheRedPenOfDoom has mentioned, this discussion is wandering from improvements to the article. Many other celebrities suffer from vandalism all the time, and it's not a special case with Gackt. Yet again I'm wrong 75% of everything I type.SilentAria ^talk 05:19, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
