History

Korongo is the working name a proposed airline which will be based in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo. It will fly scheduled services within the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring countries. Korongo is a sequel on the previous project AirDC. The AirDC-project was officially canceled on 15 December 2009. [1] This project is a joint-venture between Brussels Airlines and a Belgian local enterprise, with full-support from Lufthansa.

Those airframes are to be transfered to "Korongo", plus a Boeing 737-300.

Fleet

The Korongo fleet will first include a Boeing 737. Later, more planes will join.
