September 2009

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Vikram (actor). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Please don't add personal commentary to articles as you did on Rajnikanth. Also refer to the welcome message above to understand Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Happy editing! -SpacemanSpiffCalvinHobbes 19:10, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop introducing grammatically incorrect sentences as you did on Joseph Vijay. -SpacemanSpiffCalvinHobbes 19:14, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Joseph Vijay has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Hello
Can you provide proof that you own copyright to File:Joseph vijay-The best dancer.jpg, and can release it into the public domain? I've found numerous prior publications of that file, partly in higher resolution, which makes it likely that you found it on the web, and uploaded it. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Uploading copyright infringing content brings Wikipedia, its re-users, and yourself into legal jeopardy, and unless you can provide a good indication that you really own copyright, like with a version in a higher resolution, it will have to be deleted again.

Since I didn't receive an answer I had to delete it again. If you do own copyright to the image (I noticed you said "donate" in some of your edit summaries), I would ask you to have a look at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials, and follow the steps laid out there.
Please understand that this has to be rather complicated to protect the rights of copyright owners.

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Vishal at 2009.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 03:32, 12 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 03:32, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the new Mudaliar image

The previous Mudaliar image has been edited so that the current image depicts a single personality in each field such as Academician, Politician, Indian independence activists, Poet, Tamil film industry and Spiritual leader. So i had removed three personalities from the previous version. Adding more than one personality to one field necessitates to add more popular personalities in List of Mudaliars article. Suggestions are welcomed and you can edit this image further if you have any valid reasons --Sureshmaran (talk) 13:57, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
