Welcome to Eagles 24/7's Talk Page!

Please add your comments at the bottom of this page. If I leave you a message on your talk page and you reply there, please do not leave a {{talkback}} template on this page, because there is a good chance that I have watchlisted your talk page. Thanks, Eagles 24/7 (C)

Added template for SuggestBot

Hi,

Thanks for being one of SuggestBot's users! I hope you have found the bot's suggestions useful.

We are in the process of switching from our previous list-based signup process to using templates and userboxes, and I have therefore added the appropriate template to your user talk page. You should receive the first set of suggestions within a day, and since we'll be automating SuggestBot you will from then on continue to receive them regularly at the desired frequency.

We now also have a userbox that you can use to let others know you're using SuggestBot, and if you don't want to clutter your user talk page the bot can post to a sub-page in your userspace. More information about the userbox and usage of the template is available on User:SuggestBot/Getting Recommendations Regularly.

If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me on my user talk page. Thanks again, Nettrom (talk) 20:12, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker.

P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 11:09, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your User Infobox

I haven't seem one before, and I really liked it...so I kind of stole it. If you want me to remove it from my page, I will, but I thought I'd let you know that I used it, and you're welcome to revoke my rights if you wish. DanielDPeterson (talk) 11:17, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If I see somebody doing something wrong, for example, using Twitter as a source, what would be the best way to fix that? DanielDPeterson (talk) 01:16, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I had read somewhere that Twitter was not reliable, period; but I guess I should read the guidelines next time. The reference in question was here, and it's only an issue now because the tweet can't be found. DanielDPeterson (talk) 16:20, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sock puppets

Can you block these people? DoctorHver, Methman47. They keep messing with league championship tables on team pages. You and I had a similar dispute but finally saw eye to eye so you can feel my frustration with these people.Zoro 1234 21:01, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This guy is personally attacking me now. I know you're an admin so that's why I'm bringing it to you. I quoted what he said here "Its defenetly not clear enough lots of pepole have complained about this on various talk pages (including this one). I can however see what your problem is you are an AFL fan boy and that explains your bad attitude towards my edits. Edit Warning - reply

Hello, you posted a message on my talk page regrade User:Zoro1234 has complained to you about a comment that I used to describe what I considered an hostile attitude as I have been trying to improve a bad situation AFL-NFL/Super Bowl 1966-1970. Since I figured out that he's an Raiders fan I figured that he is probably from the AFL days and AFL fans always want make AFL sound more special than it actually was. I mean it was only a tool to win political battle as Lamar Hunt wanted an NFL team and in the end we can say that he got what he wanted. So I slowly lost my temper with him and just called a spade a spade but didn't expect him to be that thin-skinned that he would contact an admin (unless he is not an Oakland fan but stil somehow not AFL fan), The situation on these team pages are bad and confusing and needs improvement as lot of pepole have complained about this confused set up and I have done several edits that can be considered good solutions but no he loves AFL so much that he has to prevent all corrections and improvements at al cost, and based on his edit history unless he had other accounts all his edits goes towards edits that are intended to correct and improve the situation. I don't know who Methman47 he is probably like me pissed that the these team pages are not as accurate as they could and should be so if you want to improve the situation you have too rethink which person you want to block if you want too block someone from wikipedia and I think I have you give you an pretty good idea whom that should that be.DoctorHver (talk) 00:33, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the help. RevanFan (talk) 06:12, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:03, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't Jerry Jones, Jr. and Charlotte Jones Anderson be listed, seeing that they're listed on the official site under executives? RevanFan (talk) 18:25, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Typically people who have the titles they have aren't added to the staff templates. If you want to argue further, Pats1 is better to ask about it. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:57, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll ask him his thoughts. RevanFan (talk) 23:14, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
