'Celebrity Big Brother 2011 is the upcoming eighth series of Celebrity Big Brother and is the first ever Big Brother UK franchise to air on Channel 5 and 5*. It is set to begin in August and to finish in September, it is to be followed by the twelfth regular series of Big Brother UK. [1]

Channel 5 has announced that spinoff show 'Big Brother's Little Brother' and a spin-off show will air on Channel 5, along with the live feed returning.

Pre-series

Owner of Channel 5 Richard Desmond, has announced that OK Magazine and the Daily Star Newspaper will be official followers of the program. [2]
