Eventually she learns that Bieber and Usher have been posing as her friend Lilly and father respectively, and that her private life has been filmed. Thus prompting the producers to destroy the Earth.

However, come opening night it is revealed that Julie is really Lex Luthor in disguise and that the musical is really an elaborate plan to humiliate Clark.
