Problem Child is an animated series produced by Universal Cartoon Studios and based on the Problem Child films. The TV series aired from 1993 to 1994. USA Network aired the series as part of their USA Cartoon Express programming block. The first 13 episodes can currently be seen on Hulu. The show is still aired in USA dubbed in Spanish language on the Telefutura network. In spite of this, Universal, as of November 19, 2009 has yet to announce any plans for a DVD release. 5 tapes (containing 2 episodes each) were released in 1995 containing episodes from seasons 1 and 2.
A significant feature has Gilbert Gottfried reprising his role of Igor Peabody from the films.
Plot
Nine-year-old Junior continues his evil adventures with his dad Little Ben Healy, ( who is now a police officer) and his new friend, Cyndi in Toe Valley. Junior continues to make pure hell for those who get in his way like his principal Igor Peabody and Junior's grandfather Big Ben Healy with pranks and mischievous ideas.

- Junior Healy (voiced by Benjamin Diskin) - The main protagonist of the series. Junior still continues his mischief against the uncaring adults that get in his way. It seems he has a pet mole now.
- Ben Healy (voiced by Mark L. Taylor) - Junior's adoptive father who works as a police officer in Toe Valley.
- Big Ben Healy (voiced by Jonathan Harris) - The father of Ben Healy and the grandfather of Junior Healy. He has become the Mayor of Toe Valley. Big Ben Healy and Junior Healy still hate each other.
- Igor Peabody (voiced by Gilbert Gottfried) - The principal of the school that Junior and his friends attend. But he is still enemies with Junior as he causes havoc around the school.
- Murph (voiced by John Kassir) - is now Junior's friend and helps Junior out sometimes.
