Autopatrolled

(add requestview requests)
I feel I can give ample time to monitor and expand newly created pages as they add a lot of new information to Wikipedia. If these pages be cautiously patrolled, they might turn out much valuable. Also, Old users should be given some rest. VIVEK RAI :  Friend?  07:57, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are atleast 6-7 articles that I'm working on in my user space. Moreover, Most of the articles I have created are of very good length and I have worked on all of them myself. Sorry, But I beg to differ with your comment. It shouldn't be a compelling reason to decline my request. Thanks foe taking time to observe. VIVEK RAI :  Friend?  11:22, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your work, but you are not creating so many articles that it is causing problems to NPPers. I think you will be granted the rights without being asked any question if you can reach the threshold of 50 articles (and as usual, all of good quality). :) ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 11:49, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am pleased that you took your time to have a quick glance over my creations. I fear that the way in which you have stated your comments seem to exaggerate my bad points compared to the good ones (if any). I shall offer my reply points by points below:
  • You could easily tell that I have created such 5 articles with copyright problems but the others 24 shouldn't be overlooked. Those article I had created shortly after I had joined in and wasn't aware completely of the copyright policies of Wikipedia. It was mine being ignorant which created an issue - so grave that whenever I try to work nicer towards future, it questions my purpose and ability.
  • As far as Rajaram Shastri BLP article and other nine are concerned - I'll be glad if you could find and give me few more. I have tried my best to find as many as a man can.
Anyways, I shall not be disheartened if I'm not granted these rights because although it puts me to an advantage it certainly not drifts me towards any disadvantages. Thanks!! VIVEK RAI :  Friend?  11:00, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you could find only 1-2 sources for the articles, than they probably fail the WP:GNG and shouldn't even exist. (I'm too lazy to find refs for subjects, which are uninteresting to me.) Armbrust, B.Ed. WrestleMania XXVIII The Undertaker 20–0 11:14, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, But I fear that most people won't agree to what you say; at least in connection to these articles. If you are not sure, you can well nominate it for an AfD or so and follow up the results. They aren't about an average person making few lines in blogs and all, they are winners of Padma Vibhushan - the second highest civilian honor of India. An award not so easy to procure. If you're still unconvinced, I feel reluctant to describe it more. Thanks for co operation. VIVEK RAI :  Friend?  12:39, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I withdraw my request for I'm apprehensive of the outcome. Thanks! VIVEK RAI :  Friend?  10:11, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

With more than 4000 edits and 50 articles I believe that this will help me a lot contributing to Wikipedia. ZiaKhan 19:35, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Thanks for your quite impressive contributions. I loved reading the featured lists in your article creations. Do continue the fantastic work here. Wifione Message 19:43, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am asking for autopatrolled status as I have written 70 articles and made around 25,000 edits to Wikipedia over the last year and a half (I was a lurking IP address for around the same amount of time before this). I am a regular contributor at WikiProject Football and I de facto run their task force on English non-league football. I have created articles on football clubs and seasons, cycling, renewable energy, surnames, flags, and some bios. None of these have ever been flagged for deletion. I have been successful in getting an article to GA status, and I have had three DYK nominations accepted and put on the front page. I have also created five templates, compiled five WikiBooks, and submitted many of my own photographs and image contributions to both Wikipedia and WikiMedia Commons. I appreciate the difficulty that New Page Patrollers have, as I also occasionally help out checking the new pages list. I believe that I know enough about Wikipedia policy and guidelines for any new pages I create to not qualify for speedy deletion criteria. Thanks. Delsion23 (talk) 22:40, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the wonderful work you're doing out here. I just want a few clarifications. Some of the articles like Northern Premier League Challenge Cup, Peter Swales Shield, 2009–10 North West Counties Football League, Rodolphe Alexandre, Alain Tien-Liong, etc have a few statements not supported by inline citations. Is there any particular reason for that? Thanks. Wifione Message 19:22, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am an experienced editor and have created many thousands of articles. To save time and bother, could autopatrol rights be added to my account please. The rights might have been removed punitively, related to some past dispute, I don't really know, but there is no purpose served and it just costs people time to have them not on my account. doncram 20:17, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Left a note for the sysop who removed the right here--v/r - TP 03:30, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
User:NuclearWarfare removed the rights here. This action followed by a few days a decision reached at AN that showed consensus for other editors to remove certain content from stub articles if Doncram were to return to creating such articles in the future. Given the sequence of events, it seems wise for Doncram to volunteer to have this issue of his autopatrolled right submitted for approval at one of the noticeboards. As an alternative, Doncram could wait a few months before requesting autopatrolled so people get familiar with his editing pattern again to see if they still have concerns. Doncram's most recent block ended on June 28. EdJohnston (talk) 04:09, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I actually came here to nominate him but I am always suspicious when they request autopatrol themselves and he has quite a history,♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:19, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I was invited to come back and comment here, and my comment is that this seems silly. Do whatever you want, folks. I welcome having more readers of my new works. --doncram 18:28, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
FWIW, I still have a rather long list of article-space pages created prematurely by this user, in most cases more than a year ago, that have serious deficiencies still waiting to be resolved. --Orlady (talk) 19:02, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

When creating new articles, I mostly create stub articles about airports in Africa. There's not a lot of info out there, but creating them is better than leaving massive piles of redlinks all over "List of airports in (insert country here)" pages. I don't really screw up on making these, and there's not much that a patroller adds by looking at one. I feel that my creations are uncontroversial and don't require NPP attention, so autopatrolled rights would allow me to save our patrollers time. - Jorgath (talk) (contribs) 06:26, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Thanks for applying. Do continue your good contributions. Wifione Message 18:58, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have created 33 valid articles with more than 5300 edits I believe that this will help me a lot contributing to Wikipedia. Ramesh Ramaiah talk 16:03, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) How and why, specifically, do you beleive that the Autopatrolled right will help you in contributing to Wikipedia? Do you believe that it will allow you to do something that you cannot currently do? --Demiurge1000 (talk) 16:12, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I believe the Autopatrolled right is a promotion, I want to get promotion.Ramesh Ramaiah talk 16:55, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done The right is not a promotion. Please read Autopatrolled to understand the relevance of the right. You're on the right path; your sourcing is good in the BLPs and other articles you're creating. Come back after you've created 50 articles or more. Thanks. Wifione Message 18:51, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yah i understand, i will be come back after create 50 articles, Thanks and Sorry disturbed you.Ramesh Ramaiah talk 01:59, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
