Update Main Picture.

Hi guys, first time here.

Any chance of updating the main picture of RvP to that of one in a Manchester United strip?

Thanks

If you have a picture that you took or that someone has given permission for you to use of van Persie then by all means go ahead and upload. Cheers. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 00:32, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just want to clarify something. If "that someone has given permission for you to use" a picture of Van Persie, that person must be the copyright holder of that image. I've had to tag several images for removal recently that are press release photos. While they are supposed to be used to publicize the subject, they are not usually available for use under the license terms that wikipedia uses. So if someone goes to a match or training session and takes a photo of Van Persie in his Man U kit, feel free to upload it. The best photos are usually from the knees up and not in active play. Warm-ups are the best time for this. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:22, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ya, and that. Thank you for clearing that up Walter. Cheers. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 02:42, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can his lead section be updated with PFA player of year award and top scorer ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.235.66.158 (talk) 04:23, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You're about a month too late for that suggestion. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:52, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Could it be added as an extra source?--88.111.127.125 (talk) 16:13, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No because it's not a reliable source. But it's own definition, it's blog and none of the editors appear to be subject-matter experts. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:19, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

False Stats

Go to the statistics table and you will notice that it states Robin van Persie has scored 7 goals in 9 league appearances. In the personal information table it states that van Persie has played 10 league games and scored 8 goals. Please correct this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.62.19.190 (talk) 07:03, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Van Persie joined Dutch side SBV Excelsior's youth squad at the age of 14 years, but left at the age of 15, due to the relationship with the coach and his mother, and thus signed for Feyenoord."

Van Persie joined the SBV Excelsior's youth squad at the age of 5 and went to Feyenoord at the age of 12.

Please can you change the main picture of Robin Van Persie because it shows him in an Arsenal shirt, whilst currently he is playing for Manchester united. An example of the picture that can be used is the from the link: http://www.zimbio.com/pictures/5z9QSwpopDJ/Chelsea+v+Manchester+United+Premier+League/dxXMyMu0dm6/Robin+Van+Persie SSebastian3804 (talk) 14:33, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Images used on Wikipedia have to be uploaded, and be inaccordance with the image use policy (which means that primarily they have to be free content). Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 14:55, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done If any images were available they would be used. Feel free to upload a photo that you have taken. If you find one on the Internet that has a copyright that is compatible with Wikipedia, that too could be uploaded. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:06, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please change the main picture of Robin van Persie from the Arsenal kit to the Manchester United kit. He's not in Arsenal anymore.
