Requested move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: No move. The discussion was started and contributed to by abusive socks of a permanently blocked editor, and is too affected by sockpuppetry to determine consensus. Cúchullain t/c 17:38, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

– My evidence: The official website and blog for Koizumi uses Kyoko. Similarly, the official website for Yakusho uses Koji. The Google books results are, for Koizumi, 365 for Kyoko versus five for Kyōko, a ratio of 73 to one, and for Yakusho, 1730 for Koji versus 32 for Kōji, a ratio of 54 to one. The policy I appeal to is WP:JTITLE: "Use the form personally or professionally used by the person (such as on their official website or official social media profile), if available in the English/Latin alphabet" and "Use the form publicly used on behalf of the person in the English-speaking world". (These two individuals are unrelated people. I am grouping them together because the arguments and evidence are virtually identical in nature. I apologize if this is inappropriate.) Kyōko KoizumiKyoko KoizumiKyoko is "the form personally or professionally used by the person" (WP:JATITLE#Names of modern figures), because it is used on the official website and the official blog. 123.224.191.243 (talk) 16:15, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
