I visited this page some years back and as quoted below it showed his year of birth as 1973. Now it shows 1971. The claim that he is 39 years old is a joke. He must be at least 44. Going by the pictures of his childhood with his brothers as correctly cited below.

Mspraveen's cleanup vs previous (and now reverted-to) form? The cleanup is huge improvement. The other is a large amount of WP:POV analysis and PR/fluff wording. Uncited statements like "huge hit", "failed gigantically", etc.? Come on, just state its ranking or profits. "Every high has a low" would be good in a literary magazine, but no, it's not a certainty or true statement in context--it's just a throw-away linker between unrelated ideas, an uncited analysis by a wikipedia editor. "Known to have particular social consciousness among his fans" is even worse. There's no site proving that either he does or that he's known for it, there are just bare facts of some actions. I agree with Dmacks. This page contains abnormal amounts of inappropriate material. There are whole paragraphs of WP:PEACOCK sentences with no sources whatsoever, some of which I have just removed - but I'm sure they'll be back, given this page's editing history. And the entire section labeled "Career" needs to be rewritten to actually be about Pawan Kalyan's career. Actor articles are not supposed to contain detailed plot summaries of every movie the actor has ever been in.

I'm sure the editors who have added all this fancruft think they are helping their favorite actor, but it's really an embarrassment to the cause. If I were a popular actor, I would hope my Wikipedia article would be a well-written summary of my actual achievements, not a vapid orgy of content-free adulation. Age

I dont think Pawan's DOB mentioned in main page is correct. I have seen Chiranjeevi childhood pic and you can see age difference between(chiranjeevi born in 1955) these 2 actors not more than 10-12 years in that pic.So, his real DOB might be in early 60's, not in 70's.

Pavan Kalyan is a Younger Brother of Megastar Chiranjeevi, was born on september 2nd 1973. Father Name is Konidela Venkata Rao and Mother Name is Anjana Devi. He started his filmi career with 'Akkada Ammayi - Ikkada Abbayi', a telugu movie. He has created a commercial market for himself with his sensational hit film Toliprema. To become a top star, with just fine films is a phenomenal thing in the field. Movies were never his passion. He spent most of his youth practicing martial arts , which helped him gain the confidence and discipline which are the prime aspects of his charecter that shows very much on screen.

The year has been edit-warred for a while. I checked several sources, and some list 1973 while others list 1971. I could not find specific evidence of credibility (or lack of it) to pick one vs another, so I removed the year entirely, per WP:V and WP:BLP policy.
