Administrator notation templates

This template is used to answer requests for permissions, especially the rollback user right.

Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only {{{X}}} edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|exp|X}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|moreedits|X}} ~~~~
Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I see you just also applied for Pending Changes Reviewer. Let's see how you get on with that first and then we'll take another look again when you've made a few more edits. ::{{subst:RFPR|rvw}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alsorequestedreviewer}} ~~~~
Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. This is not what Rollback is for. Take a moment to read Wikipedia:Rollback and if that's what you would like to do, you can then check out the Counter Vandalism Unit to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|nrb}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notrollback}} ~~~~
I'm working on Wikipedia for over five years now (mostly films, music and sports) and I've held the rollback rights for about 3 of them. I had it revoked because I had a dispute with an admin over an article and received a ban - which I still think was a total joke because he was at fault - about half a year ago. With one ban in five years and no other problems on Wikipedia whatsoever, I think I 'm still more then qualified to have the rollback right. Best regards, --DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 23:39, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging @Only:, who removed this earlier this year. — xaosflux Talk 13:14, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Personally I'd lean no based on the "which I still think was a total joke because he was at fault" comment. Daniel Case denied the unblock per WP:NOTTHEM, and I feel like it's still applying here. The comment suggests that you don't quite see that using rollback in this situation was wrong. I'll let others make the final call, though. only (talk) 14:02, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. I was looking at this earlier today in the hope that another admin would make a decision. I came to the conclusion that with only 200 or so edits to mainspace in the last 10 months there is no real demonstration that his participation has improved. Perhaps after another 6 months & 200 more edits without any issues and he can apply again. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:37, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't run into serial vandalism all that often. But when I do, manual removal of an extensive earlier entry is time consuming, and occasionally incomplete. I would like to have this feature simply for the convenience and efficiency it provides. I don't think that my edit history will reveal any likelihood that I might abuse this privilege. This tool will be useful for me to remove vandalism, specially in Sri Lanka related articles.-- ShehanW talk 06:14, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You've got plenty of mainspace edits, but I see little evidence of actual counter-vandalism. We need more examples to be ensured you can correctly identify what constitutes vandalism. You should also try to warn the users after reverting their changes. Twinkle offers several functions to expedite this. Check out WP:CVU to learn more, and if you'd like, you can enroll in the Counter Vandalism Academy. — MusikAnimal talk 20:03, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I need this right to rollback vandalism. I am new in English Wiki, but I have this right and 3 mounths experience in Russian Wikipedia, and I know all rules. Ochilov (talk) 08:25, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Unfortunately while policies may be similar over there, I have no way of judging your ability to identify unconstructive edits because I can't read Russian :( Similarly we need to be convinced your English is good enough to not misconstrue constructive edits as unconstructive, etc. I'd say get some good examples on this wiki with a few weeks of activity and then re-apply. — MusikAnimal talk 19:53, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am reverting vandalism using Twinkle. But it is difficult to spot vandalism with Twinkle. With Huggle, it is much easier to spot vandalism and I will be much more efficient in my counter-vandalism efforts. My first request was denied over 15 days ago, but now I have gained a lot more experience in reverting vandalism. In the meantime, I have got my first DYK too. IEditEncyclopedia (talk) 11:09, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done Solid counter-vandalism activity since your last request, correctly issuing warnings to users. Looks good! Just be careful with Huggle and STiki, don't go too fast :) — MusikAnimal talk 19:59, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I constantly see vandalism of this nature that would be much more easily corrected with this user right. StewdioMACK (talk) 14:16, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done — The rollback permission isn't required to actually revert vandalism; it simply makes it easier and faster. However, I'm not seeing many extensive anti-vandalism reverts that would be conducive to needing this permission in the first place as of yet. --slakrtalk / 02:34, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I know that I only have about 200 mainspace edits, but I have done a significant amount of vandalism reversion and I always issue warnings. I currently use the ClueBot NG IRC feed (ClueNet: #cluebotng-spam) to find vandalism, but a tool like Huggle or Igloo will definitely increase my speed and accuracy of anti-vandalism. HelloThereMinions talk, contribs 21:01, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done Indeed we generally look for a more extensive editing history, but your counter-vandalism efforts look excellent. Just please be careful with Huggle, STiki and other semi-automated tools. Thank you — MusikAnimal talk 18:07, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have 673 edits in Wikipedia and I have been actively contributing against vandalism.Having this right will help me in editing and reverting accidential edits. AmRit GhiMire "Ranjit" 15:27, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done — I'm actually quite concerned about your recent edit warring blocks that would suggest difficulty with correctly identifying situations in which it is appropriate to use rollback. --slakrtalk / 02:38, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Third or fourth time requesting this, and I probably know the outcome, but I've been training and took a short wikibreak (I couldn't retire) and cleared my head. TF { Contribs } 19:15, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Why do you want rollback? I see but a few instances of reverting vandalism in the past six months. Your last request was declined as too few edits to the mainspace. With 139 edits, I think that may still be the case. However from the looks of it you wouldn't benefit much from rollback anyway. Take a moment to read Wikipedia:Rollback to find out what it is for, and if you'd like to become more involved you can check out the counter-vandalism unit to learn more. Feel free to re-apply when you have a recent editing history clearly showing an understanding of what constitutes vandalism versus edits made in good-faith. — MusikAnimal talk 05:23, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've few edits but recently become active here and so will need rollback rights to revert vandalism in one click. Administrator on English Wikivoyage. Saqib (talk) 13:42, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done While I admire your cross-wiki work, without enough localized edits there just isn't much to go off of. Outright vandalism (I imagine) is the same on nearly every wiki, but the threshold of what's considered constructive along with basic policy may differ. In the meantime you may want to consider using Twinkle, it enables you to rollback consecutive edits as well. — MusikAnimal talk 05:42, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
WP:RBK may be very helfpul for me to remove vandalism. So far I've utilised Twinkle, but thank to WP:RBK I could use even Huggle ans Stiki. 115ash→(☏) 15:20, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done Looks good, just remember to properly warn vandals after reverting their changes. STiki and Huggle will do that automatically for you, though. — MusikAnimal talk 05:51, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
i,m florence and have this right in any project and sysop in fawikivoyage . need this permissions for Reverted Vandalism and on my watchlist or on Special:Contributions/newbies thanks Florence (talk) 16:59, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Unfortunately, your experience on other web sites does not count here and with only 228 edits and the level of your English, I don't think you will be able to recognise subtle forms of vandalism with confidence. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 20:35, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
hi, i have experience , and not have problem--Florence (talk) 10:58, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I revert vandalism fairly often. Usually undo is enough, but it would be nice to have rollback for those multiple-revision reverts. Ntsimp (talk) 20:50, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
