Rollback

(add requestview requests)

Sorry, please be aware that unregistered users cannot be granted permissions due to technical restrictions. Please create an account in order to request user account permissions.

Administrator notation templates

This template is used to answer requests for permissions, especially the rollback user right.

::{{subst:RFPR|option}} ~~~~

The second (unnamed) parameter is optional. It can be omitted or used to specify the admin when marking a request as already done or the number of edits when declining due to inexperience.
Result Code Normalized code
 Done ::{{subst:RFPR|d}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|done}} ~~~~
 Already done by {{admin|X}} ::{{subst:RFPR|ad|X}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alreadydone|X}} ~~~~
 Revoked ::{{subst:RFPR|r}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|revoked}} ~~~~
 Not done ::{{subst:RFPR|nd}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notdone}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only {{{X}}} edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|exp|X}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|moreedits|X}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I see you just also applied for Pending Changes Reviewer. Let's see how you get on with that first and then we'll take another look again when you've made a few more edits. ::{{subst:RFPR|rvw}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alsorequestedreviewer}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. This is not what Rollback is for. Take a moment to read Wikipedia:Rollback and if that's what you would like to do, you can then check out the Counter Vandalism Unit to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|nrb}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notrollback}} ~~~~
I would like to expand my experience on Wikipedia and help keep it free from vandalism and copyright infringement Makro (talk) 14:38, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Tho not directly connected, the inaccuracy of the editor's deletion requests makes me reluctant to give further permissions. DGG ( talk ) 03:53, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done per DGG. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:58, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have only ever requested the deletion of pages that at the time of my request were not up to Wikipedia's standards.Makro (talk) 14:42, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I want to help revert vandalism on Wikipedia.Tomandjerry211 (talk) 23:42, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
information Administrator note This users request for pending changes reviewer was declined twice in December ([1][2]) — MusikAnimal talk 16:51, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done. Comes to hard on the heels of two recently declined requests. Please get the Reviewer flag first (and then wait some) because it has a lower threshold than Rollbacker. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:01, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I would like this user right so as to empower me to better defend the project against vandalism. I promise I will never use RB in a content dispute, or in any other inappropriate way. Thanks! Rationalobserver (talk) 21:42, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done No conclusive evidence of any previous anti-vandal work at all. Please do some significant manual vandalism reverting or using Twinkle and then reapply. Thanks. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:57, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to be able to make use of the semi-automated tools that are available to aid my contributions. Vandal Fighter and Twinkle have proven very useful. Thank you. Mattwheatley (talk) 04:27, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) I've added a proper heading and rfp template to the request. The requester may not have properly read the instructions before requesting. Zhaofeng Li [talk... contribs...] 04:34, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry. Used the form and well... Thanks for the help. Mattwheatley (talk) 04:43, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done With only 307 edits to mainspace and on Wikipedia for less than a month, it is too soon for you to be requesting rights for maintenance tools. You can nevertheless use Twinkle, and then please reapply when you have demonstrated a significant number of vandalism reverts. Please see WP:CVU for more incformation. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:30, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the consideration. I look forward to being of more help once I have increased my experience. Cheers. Mattwheatley (talk) 09:53, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Any chance?? I know I am relatively new but most of my actions involve removing multiple revisions of blatant vandalism. I would benefit from Rollback, and WP would benefit from my having it!! :)) !! --Boy Seeks Girl Tonight (talk) 21:33, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) While you're waiting, you might want to try Twinkle. Cheers, --L235 (talk) Ping when replying 22:31, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only 119 edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU and when you have made 200 or so edits to articles you may wish to enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:15, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK thanks. --Boy Seeks Girl Tonight (talk) 16:04, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello; I have had Reviewer and STiki permissions for awhile, using them to revert vandalism, but would appreciate this useful permission as well when I troll for vandals; i.e. today when I needed to rollback 10 edits on Radioland Murders. I can appreciate the technical aspect of Rollback, how it removes the vandal's edit instead of adding another layer on top of it. When I do use normal reverts, I am always faithful at warning the user on their Talk page. Thanks for your decision; cheers. Prhartcom (talk) 23:34, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Done ·addshore· talk to me! 16:52, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I formerly had this right before being blocked. I didn't have history of abusing the tool. I am a sysop on simplewikt and have rollback on numerous Wikimedia wikis. I'm very active in cross-wiki anti-vandalism and spam removal. Eurodyne (talk) 06:46, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Done, but remember what was said here. ·addshore· talk to me! 16:48, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
