I noticed there is no information on the Turkish investigation of Minecraft to prove if it is violent. I feel as if there should be. 73.142.128.45 (talk) 20:52, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Amortias (T)(C) 22:12, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About thoses "mini bosses" it was never truly announced by Mojang that the Elder guardian was a "mini boss," and It certainly was never said that a regular guardian was one either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.122.70.200 (talk) 17:04, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Should we split this article and make room for a franchise article?

Pretty much in the title; this page seems to encapsulate far more than the scope of any one video game. In fact, it covers the different iterations of Minecraft, as well as things beyond the scope of said product, including Minecraft: Story Mode. Considering that this article is beyond said scope, do you guys feel this may be necessary? DARTHBOTTO talkcont 20:21, 2 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Not yet. Minecraft: Story Mode is not notable on its own yet; and it's an inconsequential size right now. As the page is 117 kB, a split is probably warranted, however. I personally think that the Applications of Minecraft and perhaps the reception section could be spun off. I don't think spinning off individual versions is a particularly good idea; the console versions are pretty similar to the PC version for the most part, whilst the handheld versions are pretty different to each other (so one big article on them would be a bit daft), and wouldn't justify individual articles either, as there's not that much on them. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 21:45, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I don't think Story Mode is the basis for my proposal, but rather a consideration. The versions on the franchise page would get a passing mention in the same way the N64 version of StarCraft is mentioned on its franchise page. I think, however, that the expansion of the franchise with various mediums is something to take note of. The components of this article that could be moved to the proposed new page are: Story Mode, Merchandise, Popular culture and social media and Applications.
User:Lukeno94, do you think we should wait to split the article, considering its size? DARTHBOTTO talkcont 21:44, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

|publisher = Microsoft (PC, mobile)
Microsoft Studios (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows Phone)
Sony Computer Entertainment (PS3, PS4, PS Vita) Finn592 (talk) 06:46, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Microsoft owning the property now doesn't suddenly make them the publisher of the PC and mobile version. They were published prior to Microsoft's involvement and there is no indication that anything has changed in regards to the publishing of these versions. --The1337gamer (talk) 10:43, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to change the bit about Terraria being inspired by Minecraft. The developers of it have said they did not get inspired by Minecraft on Reddit. FoxBeregan (talk) 08:57, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: This is appropriately sourced to an developer interview by a reliable source. -- ferret (talk) 12:39, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

MinecraftEdu information updated

MinecraftEdu is the product not the organization. Currently, the article reads "In 2011, an educational organization named MinecraftEdu was formed with the goal of introducing Minecraft into schools". The company that creates MinecraftEdu, TeacherGaming LLC (www.teachergaming.com) was formed in 2011. I suggest this to be edited to read "In 2011, MinecraftEdu, the official educational version of Minecraft was released with the goal of introducing the game into schools." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.111.75.89 (talk) 10:36, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Minecraft and schizophrenia links? the interface does seem to fit how schizophrenics perceive the world — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.49.157.227 (talk) 08:27, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Spectator Mode

In the narration before the sections below, all game types (survival, creative, adventure) are mentioned but Spectator is not. I know this is a minor mistake but I just wanted to point it out. Stella Kulik (talk) 18:06, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
