SA 13 Bro (talk) 06:43, 18 July 2015 (UTC)Hello!!! Tsunesaburō Makiguchi birthday was on 23 July 1871, NOT 6 June, and also Nichiren birthday was on 16 February 1222, NOT 6 April!!! Don't know what the fucking hell that you all doing like!...SA 13 Bro (talk) 06:43, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

First of all I‘d like to remind you that swearing does not really help matters. I do acknowledge the fact that there is much confusion on dates like this one, but simply replacing one with the other does indicate that you do not seem to have much of a clue yourself either. In literature different dates are used pending on which calendar system the information is based on i.e Lunar calendar or Gregorian calendar. --Catflap08 (talk) 07:15, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@ SA 13 Bro Please also note WP:CIV. --Catflap08 (talk) 08:03, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reminding The FAKE Birthday

Excuse me! Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to remind you all that; Tsunesaburō Makiguchi real birthday was on 23 July 1871, NOT 6 June, and also Nichiren real birthday was on 16 February 1222, NOT 6 April! So we hope that everybody NOT to citation the fake of dates, otherwise, you will get error confusion! Thank you and have a nice day...

The date of birth is "明治4年6月6日" in the Japanese calendar. "明治4年6月6日" in the Japanese calendar is the "July 23, 1871" in the Gregorian calendar. --aki4 (talk) 13:43, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
On Wikipedia, should we use the Japanese calendar? --aki4 (talk) 11:17, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
We should use what the sources say. Japan uses the Gregorian calendar; the lunisolar Chinese calendar was replaced in 1873. We could add the Chinese date of his birth (年号 + stems and branches), but the official date adjustment for his birth that you've been banging on about unproductively in the past is "6 June 1871". That's how the official calendar works. I don't know where you are finding that date; you need to provide a reliable source for the birth. Ogress smash! 14:58, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ogress I warn you; accusing other people as sockpuppets with no evidence you also may consider as personal attack too!!! Ponyo Vanjagenije Yunshui Mike V Administrator can use the WP:CHECK tool to check the IP addresses on that... Aki42006 Please don't urged this username "Ogress" to prevent you get suspected I'm your sockmaster, they'll get the reliable source in the future and don't worry about that. Have a nice day...SA 13 Bro (talk) 12:48, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Zhi Hao Assertions About Makiguchi's Birthdate

The date of Tsunesaburo Makiguchi's birthday is June 6, not July 23. Stop your baseless claims and constant edits to reflect the wrong date. Pick up a biography on Makiguchi and see it for yourself.

203.92.72.226 You can check on this Japanese version for some thread about the date on "7月23日" is stand for July 23 and "明治4年6月6日" is stand for Japanese old Lunar calender June 6 which was the incorrect date used in Gregorian calender, also you go view on this Wikidata source for finding to search the "date of birth" is 23 July 1871 in "Gregorian" marked position, the biography information that you're mentioned is incorrect record. How dare you said I'm making nonsense? Clear up your mind! Makiguchi's birthday was on July 23, NOT June 6! SA 13 Bro (talk) 14:56, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
203.92.72.226 Please don't add the date right now, I knew there was an birthday disputation. SA 13 Bro (talk) 07:25, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Winston, why don't you add a section to say Makiguchi's reincarnation is you? You seem to believe this, along with other fantasies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.92.72.226 (talk) 02:57, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Makiguchi's reincarnation

Yes.....upstair you're right, I was Makiguchi in former lifetime which was from Japan reincarnated and pass to Singapore, my name's Lim Zhi Hao (former name was Peh Zhi Hao), usually people are calling me "Zhi Hao". Although I'm doesn't understand Japanese language right now..... SA 13 Bro (talk) 03:49, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Burial/Cremation

I just removed a sentence saying "The exact burial place of Makiguchi seems to be unknown – no information on that could be retrieved." This seems a bit like a discussion rather than article content so I have removed it. As an aside, is it not more likely as a Buddhist that he was cremated? I could not find any information either way. GodEmperor 16:21, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seems fair enough, never the less the ashes do get buried too by so way or another. I guess his burial place to be at Taiseki-ji but no source found so far. --Catflap08 (talk) 20:13, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Original research is it?... SA 13 Bro (talk) 00:55, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Handbook of Contemporary Japanese Religions

I removed the material referring to Chigaku in the Handbook of Contemporary Japanese Religions because upon reading it, it is clear the author has made a major error in the timeline. The basis of the references by Levi McLaughlin also use the Handbook of Contemporary Japanese Religions as the source. The original source states that Makighuchi's own philosophy had no influence from Chigaku. Yet then later it states that Makiguchi may have used Chigaku's group as a source of inspiration for his own group... but Makiguchi had already formed his group, so that is false. It further states that in the postwar era, the Soka Gakkai used similar institutional practices as the Chigaku group, but Makiguchi was obviously not involved in the postwar era because he had passed away in prison during the war. So those statements are also clearly false.Haroli43 (talk) 03:25, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
