We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Kottayam. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your repeated addition of unsourced, flowery cruft to this article is becoming disruptive. You are are treating Wikipedia as a tourist guide in order to promote the place- please desist. If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. You have been told what has been wrong with your edits. You seem to think Wikipedia is here to help you promote your hometown. It is NOT. Any additions must be Encyclopaedic and well sourced; your own knowledge / opinion / upbringing is completely irrelevant. You have already been discovered socking; you clearly have some form of conflict of interest in this article; and now you are edit-warring. You have been warned about all these things.
