January 11

This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on January 11, 2018.

Fame (movie, TV series, and theme song)

Besides the fact that the disambiguator in the title is too long to be a plausible search term, the redirect is also misleading since there is no topic/article in the target disambiguation page that is all three of these: movie, TV series, and theme song. Celestial bureaucracy

The word "bureaucracy" does not appear in the target article. Previously looked like [1] but was "merged" in 2014. I use scare quotes because most of this content does not currently appear at the target article and so I am not certain whether the term "merge" is accurate. • Comment - The metaphor of referring to Chinese traditional deities as a "celestial bureaucracy" appears to be used by a variety of reliable sources (here's one example), and perhaps a few sentences should be added in the related article? The redirects seem approriate enough. The only problem that I see is that the target needs to be expanded. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 16:40, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: This looks like no consensus, but let's see if one more relist helps.

Highway hierarchies

This redirect should be deleted. Contraction hierarchies are a part of some routing algorithms, often on road networks. "Highway hierarchy" however refers to something more general and intuitively understood, i.e. that some roads are larger, more important than others. LA Noire 2

There never was a game under this name; what eventually became of the spiritual sequel was Whore of the Orient. However, since the name is completely unofficial, it should be better deleted. Lordtobi () 18:58, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stefan Bekowsky

Appears to be the only of its kind for L.A. Noire; since there is no detailed character description anywhere, and he is just a side character, this is a cruft-y (WP:GAMECRUFT) redirect. Lordtobi () 18:52, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Founder of

Not sure, but probably retarget to the disambiguation page, Founder. In my long experience disambiguating links to "Founder", a founder of something is more likely to refer to a business or organization. bd2412 T 17:55, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete to allow Wikipedia's search function to help readers locate what they are looking for instead of disarming them to a disambiguation page that may not include what they are trying to find. Steel1943 (talk) 21:21, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Allow (song)

Appears there are editors creating redirects for rumoured song tracks. There is no 'Allow' on the target and unable to find a Bjork or other song with this title. Richhoncho (talk) 11:44, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak keep, probably harmless. Early descriptions of the anticipated album (e.g. [2]) suggested there would be a track titled "Allow", which was not present when the album was released. Perhaps it was dropped from the final cut. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 13:52, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Ivanvector:. Fair point and if you want to add information into the article then the listing here should be removed. However, if there had been any reference to the song in the WP article I would not have listed here. They are redirects that take you nowhere. --Richhoncho (talk) 14:07, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Note to closer: don't let my comment stand in the way of what is probably a WP:G7 situation. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:22, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Characters of Final Fantasy V

Article was cruft and redirect contains no relevance to the article. Should be deleted. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 04:57, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thathal

No mention of them at the target article, which has been cleaned of unsourced/non-notable entries over a period of many years. Can't find any reliable sources that would justify expansion of the redirect into a standalone article. Sitush (talk) 04:46, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How about we add the basic info from these two classes of Jats and Rajput who belong to this clan at least. There are Hindu Thathals in Jammu were are Jats majority of muslim are Jats along with a few Rajputs. §

What I Want (Bebe Rexha song)

No such song, checked discography and main article. Apparently the EP where it presently redirects was going to be called "What I Want" Richhoncho (talk) 00:14, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
