Jayne Connery (born 23 May 1967) is a former reporter and promotions executive from Buckinghamshire, England. She is the founder and director of Care Campaign for the Vulnerable. Through Care Campaign, Jayne has rallied for safety monitoring laws in U.K. nursing homes.

Big Brother

In January 2009, Connery was a rumoured contestant on Celebrity Big Brother. She did not ultimately enter The House.[1]

Connery entered the second House on Day 1.[2] On Day 21, she received 10 nominations from her fellow housemates, and was nominated for the third eviction.[3] She survived this eviction on Day 25.[4] On Day 42, Connery was nominated once again by her fellow housemates, however, on Day 43 she was saved from eviction and was replaced with Andy instead.[5] Jayne left the House on the last day, having reached the finals.

Campaigner

Jayne raises funds with her "daredevil challenges," including a Wing Walk, a parachute jump at 14,000 ft and an abseil down one of Northampton's tallest buildings, The National Lift Tower and a free fall Abseil down the Arcelormittal in London [6]

Connery has also petitioned the government for a change in the law.[7]

Connery organizes and holds charity gala events for Care Campaign for the Vulnerable, advocating for families and caregivers affected by inadequate care. [8]

Connery is also an Advocate to families and family carers affected by inadequate care. Care Campaign for the Vulnerable appears on GOOD Morning BRITAIN and in National press highlighting dementia care and Care Campaign for the Vulnerable’s important work.
