About Me

I am an American from Portland Oregon. For the past fifteen years, I have lived in South Korea. I teach business at a university. My students come from Vietnam Nepal, India, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Cameroon. My education includes a bachelors degree in Speech Communications, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Business Administration. My hobbies include music, photography, reading, caving, traveling, politics, and surfing the internet. During the past several, I have been inactive on Wikipedia for the most part due to time constraints, but check in and edit occasionally.

The article that I am most proud of writing is the one about my grandfather, Morris R. Jeppson. He was the assistant weaponeer on the Enola Gay, the plane that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima August 6th, 1945. Very little information was available about him due to the fact he did not grant any interviews up until the 40th anniversary in 1985. When I began to browse Wikipedia, I noticed my grandfather was mentioned in the article about the Enola Gay. His name was misspelled in the article and no additional information was available. I felt that the world should learn about his accomplishments after the war, as he took part in many important scientific discoveries that make it possible to develop the products we buy and use today. He was interviewed for the article Eyewitness to Hiroshima which appeared in Time Magazine for the 60th anniversary in August 2005 [1]. My grandfather passed away at the end of March of 2010.

I have also done extensive work on many articles about Oregon politicians. Please feel free to look through the list of articles I have written or contributed to and give me feedback on my talk page.
