G.I. Joe is an upcoming comic book series set to be published on September 2019 by IDW Publishing, being written by Paul Allor and drawn by Chris Evenhuis.[1]

Based upon the G.I. Joe franchise by Donald Levine and Hasbro, the comic book will be a reboot of the previous comic book series that used to take place in the Hasbro Comic Book Universe (2005-2018).[2]

Premise

The story follows G.I. Joe, an insurgent movement lead by Duke and Scarlett, fighting against the totalitarian regime of Cobra. However, the Joes' current status as fugitives (because of Cobra's propaganda) makes them difficult to succeed.[1][2]
