An article you recently created, Classification of AC transmission line, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Help Needed on Chandrayaan-2 page

A user called Rowan Forest is reverting changes everytime when someone mentions that Chandrayaan-2 is first mission going to South Pole. That user just can't tolerate that Indian mission can be First . In Introduction section he again edited and changed to "southernmost mission" and removed Indian mission being First. His argument is Chinese landed on South pole first but in reality Chinese Chang'e 4 landed at 45.5 latitude which is much farther from South Pole while India is aiming to land at 70 degree latitude.. Please help against that user Artemis51 (talk) 08:26, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Artemis 51:To be honest, Chang'e 4 was the first to land on the far side of moon, Chandrayaan-2 will be the first southernmost landing, and the second landing on far (dark) side of moon. And there's nothing wrong in that data, as of now. On 3 January 2019, the Chang'e 4, a Chinese spacecraft, was the first to soft land near the lunar south polar region,[13] (45.5 ° S, 177.6 ° E) in the Von Kármán crater, which comes within the lunar far region(unfortunately).AbhiMukh97 (talk) 11:28, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Madara Uchiha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://myanime2go.com/2017/11/showdown-of-the-baddees-madara-uchiha-vs-aizen-sosuke.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:36, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted this as an unambiguous copyright violation. Do not post copyright material to wikipedia. GoldenRing (talk) 13:56, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@GoldenRing: :@Sphilbrick: Sorry to hear that. But the source, from which I copied the information belongs to wikipedia.

If you can, please check for reverse copy vio. AbhiMukh97Speak 14:39, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AbhiMukh97, Please reread the message Diannaa sent you on 19 July. Even thought it came form Wikipedia, it is still a policy violation if you do not properly attribute the material. Diannaa explained how to do this. S Philbrick(Talk) 16:04, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Madara Uchiha's draft

In regards to Madara Uchiha, I recommend you reading this guide about writing fictional characters' article. While the Naruto wiki has freedom to create any article, Wikipedia requires us to make the article pass WP:Notability in order to prove the character is important within the real world. See Nagato (Naruto)#Reception as an example of how character articles should be done. Hope you have fun with Wikipedia.Tintor2 (talk) 15:58, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: It'll certainly take some research, but I think Madara has far more influence in the series than Nagato. And regarding the reception, it'll be fun to explore. Thank youAbhiMukh97Speak 07:25, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Influence in the series is not relevant for fictional characters. If not we would have created articles for Minato and the Sage of the Six Paths too. Reception also requires citations from WP:Reliable sources, so be careful with finding different sources. Another important thing about fictional characters is having information about their creation which is often challenging (for example, I have been unable to find anything about the adult designs of Naruto and Sasuke even though the former is a FA). Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 16:29, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I would advise you again to focus on reliable third party sources. Polls from sites whose writers' real names are not reliable. Check the guidelines and search for sources that comment on the character critically rather than simply labeling as best fighter or villain. And remember to focus on Madara rather than Obito.Tintor2 (talk) 19:04, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Thanks for your suggestions, I highly appreciate that. But as you can see, I'm just trying to sum up all the information I can find over internet, it looks kind of messed up. Ill try to fix that and exclude non-reliable sources as early as possible. And as you've said, I haven't found any information on creation and design of Madara, despite searching for it. As obito disguised himself as Madara and carried out his will, it'll be hard to discuss Madara without Obito. Again, thanks for your suggestions. AbhiMukh97Speak 02:01, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, I remember you thinking about a good image of the character. Chapter 398 has a color page showing Madara so it might help if you can create the article.Tintor2 (talk) 22:38, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2:I've been searching for it, for a while and managed to find two pictures that can be used. You can check it out, if you want.

The only thing that I need is some valid information behind the creation and conception of Madara. I haven't found any interview where Kishi talks about creation of Madara. Thanks for your help though.AbhiMukh97Speak 04:07, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Flowerpiep: Sorry for pinging you here Flowerpiep but any chance might you know about the character's creation? Still, I kind of doubt it considering he appears kind of late in the story.Tintor2 (talk) 03:25, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I found this and this over the internet, but they don't seem genuine. AbhiMukh97(Speak)(Contribs) 08:39, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

the first has a source. Try asking the author if possible. The kobayashi interview is useful.Tintor2 (talk) 12:18, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph Boyden

The current biography, especially “controversies” section is criminally irresponsible and mostly based on conjecture and an aggressive political stance against Boyden. There are numerous glaring mistruths and bald faced lies held up by deeply questionable magazines and articles quoted. They need to be edited out. Wasauksing (talk) 05:30, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Wasauksing: I can understand your concern. However, you can't just change the article like that. Read WP:COI and you'll know what I'm talking about. Please refrain from direct editing, discuss with the editors of that article about which direction the article will grow and on what basis. Neutrality is one of the vital pillars of Wikipedia, so make sure that your suggestions follow WP:NPOV. I would also suggest you to go through WP:POINT and make sure that it doesn't fall under WP:FRINGE as it may lead to WP:HOAX. Feel free to ask me anything. Thank you,AbhiMukh97(Speak)(Contribs) 14:24, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Railfan23 I've requested G-7 for that. Forgot to add Template: prefix. Thanks,AbhiMukh97(Speak)(Contribs) 14:49, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yws, but I'm afraid that's not the only problem. Even at Template:Uw-neucoi there are serious issues with this template. It is poorly written, for example "on neutral point" is meaningless. Perhaps you meant to write something like "don't follow to a neutral point of view"? Note that I linked to the policy in question. There are several more examples of this in the template. The template is too specific to be useful - it would only be applicable in a handful of cases. It is misnamed - how is this a Conflict of Interest template when it doesn't mention conflicts of interest? Finally, this appears to ultimately be an attempt to duplicate Template:Uw-npov1. We already have a series of templates that covers warning people about violating policy on the neutral point of view. In general, I would steer clear of creating new templates. Best luck, Railfan23 (talk) 15:00, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Railfan23 Certainly, the template is too much specific. But I dont think it is similar to Template:Uw-npov1. If you think it shouldn't exist on wikipedia, I've no issues with that. However, I think Most of The conflict of interest cases are about the lack of neutrality. I'm nominating it for G-7 if it's already not deleted. Thanks AbhiMukh97(Speak)(Contribs) 15:10, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Uw-neucoi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". I-400 class "reverse engineering"

Apparently, when completely unsourced additions about "reverse engineering" was added, that slipped by with hardly any challenge. When said unsourced additions were removed, it was reverted immediately. I'm sorry, but what? Did you even check the edit history of the article? Not even the sources cited in that section remotely support the "reverse engineering" claim, nor does any book on US submarines (including Norman Friedman). What kind of standard is Wikipedia holding then? 2600:1700:6000:9CA0:34B7:C4D1:7E2E:617D (talk) 10:03, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This article says too much about the submarine. Especially the part I-400-class submarine#American reverse engineering of Japanese technology. But there is no reliable reference or no reference at all. We need to find some valid reference. And change the article accordingly. This will save a lot of effort and time and will be hassle-free. We have no control over what already happened. But we can at least try to change what is happening, to the right direction.

Harold LLoyd - Greenacres

As an associate to the Harold Lloyd family, I request evidence that Harold Lloyd has anything to do with your false allegations that Harold had anything to do with with a community that tried to legally remove minorities from the Benedict Canyon area. In reality, Mr. Lloyd had nothing to do with any of this. LEGAL ACTION FROM THE LLOYD FAMILY TO FOLLOW, as this is slander.

I will continue to remove daily. Expect it.
