Mission: Impossible 8 is an upcoming action spy film written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It is the eighth instalment of the Mission Impossible film series.

It was announced by Cruise on January 14, 2019 that the seventh and eighth Mission: Impossible films will be shot back-to-back with McQuarrie writing and directing both films for July 23, 2021 and August 5, 2022 release.[1][2] In September 2019, McQuarrie announced on his Instagram account that Hayley Atwell has joined the cast for the seventh film.[3]

Release

The film is expected to be released on August 5, 2022.[4]
