"Nice to Meet Ya" is a song by American singer Meghan Trainor featuring American rapper Nicki Minaj. It was released on January 31, 2020, as the third single from Trainor's third studio album Treat Myself (2020), which was released on the same day.

Background

Trainor announced the song on January 28, 2020, after using the shaking-hands emoji as a placeholder for the song's title on the track list of Treat Myself.[1][2]

The song is not a cover of the Niall Horan song with the same title released shortly before.

Music video

The song's music video accompanied the song's release.[3] It was directed by Mathew Cullen and inspired by Working Girl (1988).[4]
