Criminal?

The introduction calls him a criminal and that he left his career following his crimes. I thought he has not been convicted. TahaGhassemi (talk) 19:45, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I just removed those, hope that's OK. TahaGhassemi (talk) 19:51, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting Proposal

I feel like Weinstein's filmography has reached the ambiguous limit for splitting away from the article. Therefore, I propose that Harvey Weinstein#Selected filmography be moved into a page called Harvey Weinstein filmography. | abequinnfourteen 00:35, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Montage of televised award-show Thank-Yous (and an 'irreverent' joke)

After Ricky Gervais hosted the 77th Golden Globe Awards (televised on NBC) on January 5, 2020, someone posted a video online[1] -- on Facebook, on the "official" [fan] page of Ben Shapiro -- starting out with

  • a clip of Gervais telling what could be considered an irreverent joke (quote: "[...] a movie where people survive by acting like they don't see a thing ... sorta like working for Harvey Weinstein")[1]

and including

  • a montage of video excerpts of award winners thanking Harvey Weinstein ... [probably] during televised award shows.

Would it be OK for the above information to be included in the article? If it is OK, then ... what section does it belong in? Probably not under "Awards and honors", (right?) Perhaps under "Popular culture"?

Any comments? --Mike Schwartz (talk) 03:51, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Possible hermaphrodite

According to one of the witnesses in court, Harvey Weinstein appeared to have a deformed penis and no visible genitals. She said he looked like he was "intersex" (New-Age euphemism for hermaphrodite). [2]

I think it’s worth mentioning especially given that he didn’t even deny it (he just said “perfect” in response to the claim). She also said she thought he might have been a burn victim as well. However, given that he has five (apparently) biological children, I find the intersex theory unlikely. Also, why would he have gotten burned on only his genitals? Personally I think it’s most likely due to either 1. cancer or 2. a previous, foiled rape attempt in which the would-be victim disfigured him in self-defense. The accuser’s claim that his penis looked like it was cut off and sewn back on would fit #2 in particular. But that’s all just speculation at this point. I’m sure at some point the court will order a medical examination on him and then we’ll know everything. 63.231.141.132 (talk) 07:02, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
