Why isn't this simply in the SRV article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.236.79.85 (talk) 12:14, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

How many seats on the helicopter which crashed?
So there were FOUR seats, excluding the pilot's? So Stevie, Jimmie, and Jimmie's wife, who were to go on this helicopter, found only 1 seat available? So Stevie took that seat (and Jimmie and Jimmie's wife took a different flight). Confusion caused by appearance that Brooks, Browne and Smythe took all available seats; those 3, along with Stevie and the pilot, were killed. Carlm0404 (talk) 23:02, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
Requested move 12 April 2020
![]() | It has been proposed in this section that Death of Stevie Ray Vaughan be renamed and moved to 1990 East Troy, Wisconsin helicopter crash. A bot will list this discussion on the requested moves current discussions subpage within an hour of this tag being placed. The discussion may be closed 7 days after being opened, if consensus has been reached (see the closing instructions). Please base arguments on article title policy, and keep discussion succinct and civil. Please use {{subst:requested move}} . Do not use {{requested move/dated}} directly. |
Death of Stevie Ray Vaughan → 1990 East Troy, Wisconsin helicopter crash – The title "Death of Stevie Ray Vaughan" may not be appropriate because it ignores the other victims. Suggesting "1990 East Troy, Wisconsin helicopter crash" because that title is consistent with other articles about helicopter crashes, and the recent renames of 2001 Marsh Harbour Cessna 402 crash and 2020 Calabasas helicopter crash both reinforce this idea. 64222368Z260O (talk) 06:33, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
