Lieutenant colonel Li Guangsu (Chinese: 李广苏; born July 1987) is a Chinese fighter pilot and People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps (PLAAC) taikonaut.[1][2]

Biography

Li was born in the town of Huzhai [zh], Pei County, Jiangsu, in July 1989, to Li Houlin (李厚林), and Xu Guilan (徐桂兰).[3] He has an older sister and a younger brother.[4] He graduated from the People's Liberation Army Air Force Aviation University.[4]

He enlisted in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in September 2006, and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in June 2011.[4]

A pilot in the People's Liberation Army Air Force, he was selected into the People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps in September 2020.[4]
