Kamal Nain Bakshi is an Indian retired career diplomat. He spent much of his career in Austria, Sweden, and Iraq. He was Ambassador to Iraq during the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, which caused 170,000 Indian nationals to leave Kuwait.[6]

Career[edit]

He has a Master's degree in political science. From 1958 to 1961, he was a Lecturer at the College of Jalandhar.

He is the son of Pushpa and Karam Chand.
