hello

Nice Job

Totally diggin' the use of the ownership logos on WAVY-TV, WDCW, and others. There is a person who is adding the network logos (NBC, CBS, etc) to them and with this it adds to the page. Great job! - SVRTVDude (Yell - Toil) 18:47, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You

Network logos

Dear user. Please stop adding the logos to the various infoboxes. These images cannot be used freely. They are used only under a Fair use rationale and as such can only be used on the pages of the company they directly refer to. You cannot use them as "link decoration", because this would not be a Fair Use of the image and is not allowed by the fair use policy of wikipedia. It sure looks pretty, but wikipedia just cannot do that at this time. --TheDJ (talkcontribsWikiProject Television) 20:30, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok i'm sorry are you banned me? , i'm trouble?

Dude, you are not banned. There are just some people that think certain pictures are fair-use in some places and not in others. It is a long-going battle that isn't about to end. You tried something new and different and that is great! Keep trying new things, be different, we need different and new here at Wikipedia. You aren't in trouble. If you have questions. Message me on my talk page and I can help ya out. Take care....SVRTVDude (Yell - Toil) 20:40, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You!

You won't get banned that soon. You have to do really stupid stuff before you get banned. :D Of course there are a lot of stupid people in this world, so it does happen a lot :D. You are not expected to know all the policies in Wikipedia. As long as you talk to other people and discuss things on talk pages when you do large invasive edits you almost can't go wrong. I see you haven't been welcomed to Wikipedia yet since you started editing in August. Let me do that at the same time. Happy editing. --TheDJ (talkcontribsWikiProject Television) 21:17, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Deemi

Message posted on Saturday, April 21, 2007

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Deemi. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://www.vibe.com/music/next/2006/12/deemi/ in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Deemi with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Deemi with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a {{hangon}} tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Deemi saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.

It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your original contributions are welcome.

I am sorry i don't do it again.

A template you created, {{Equity Broadcasting}}, has been identified as being orphaned and depreciated and will be deleted in two weeks if there are no objections. If you do have an objection, please place it here (but I doubt you will; just two minutes after your last edit to {{Equity Broadcasting}}, you created {{EBC}}, which is the template that ended up entering use — both templates were created back on January 9, 2007, and you have not edited in months). Thank you for your understanding. --WCQuidditch 20:53, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mhiji 02:24, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Nomination for deletion of Template:Journal Communications

Template:Journal Communications has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. I know you haven't edited here since 2007 but I'm just following proper template deletion nomination protocol. Nate (chatter) 04:42, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Jamesinc303 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

some user used a main user page as a talk page a while back

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
