The 2019 Sydney International is a tournament on the 2019 ATP World Tour and 2019 WTA Tour. It will be played on outdoor hard courts in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
It is the 126th edition of the tournament and took place at the NSW Tennis Centre. It will be held from 6 - 12 January 2019 as part of the Australian Open Series in preparation for the first Grand Slam of the year. In October 2018, Naomi Osaka, Angelique Kerber, Sloane Stephens were confirmed as entrants.[1][2]
