On 2 April 2023, a bombing occurred in the Street Bar café on the Universitetskaya Embankment in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Russian war correspondent and blogger Vladlen Tatarsky died as a result of the explosion.[1][2] In the first reportings of the attack, 7 people at least were thought to be dead.[3] According to Russian officials, 25 people were injured, 19 were hospitalized and one person was killed.[4]
The cafe where the explosion occurred belongs to Yevgeny Prigozhin.[5] The Cyber Z Front discussion club gathers here on weekends.[5]
