Quirino, officially the Municipality of Quirino (Ilocano: Ili ti Quirino; Filipino: Bayan ng Quirino), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 9,306 people.[3]
Formerly known as Angaki (also spelled Angkaki in some sources), the municipality was renamed in June 1964 to Quirino in honor of Elpidio Quirino, the sixth President of the Philippines.[5]

In the 2020 census, the population of Quirino, Ilocos Sur, was 9,306 people,[3] with a density of 39 inhabitants per square kilometre or 100 inhabitants per square mile.
