The 2020–21 season is the 12th season in the existence of RB Leipzig and the club's fifth consecutive season in the top flight of German football. In addition to the domestic league, RB Leipzig are participating in this season's editions of the DFB-Pokal and the UEFA Champions League. The season covers the period from 19 August 2020 to 30 June 2021.
