Sharad Malhotra (born 9 January 1983) is an Indian film and television actor.[2] He is best known for portraying Rishi Singh Bedi and Sagar in Colors TV's Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, Zee TV's Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and Star Bharat's Muskaan. Since August 2020 he has been portraying Veer Singhania in Naagin 5.

Personal life

He dated actress Divyanka Tripathi for seven years. He married Ripci Bhatia on 20 April 2019.[3]

Career

Malhotra started his career with India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. He later made his acting debut in 2006 with Banoo Main Teri Dulhan where he played the role of Sagar opposite Divyanka Tripathi.[4][5] The show ended in mid-2009.[6]

In 2014, he played the lead role in Sony TV's Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap opposite Rachana Parulkar.[7] The show ended in 2015. He later participated in Box Cricket League.[8]

In 2016, Malhotra played the lead role of Rishi in the popular show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki opposite Kratika Sengar.[9]

He portrayed Raunak in Star Bharat's Muskaan opposite Yesha Rughani until mid-2020.

In August 2020, he joined the cast of Naagin 5, portraying a shape-shifting cheel named Veer.[10]
