Election for Governor of Georgia
2022 Georgia gubernatorial election
The 2022 Georgia gubernatorial election will take place on November 8, 2022, to elect the governor of Georgia . Incumbent Republican governor Brian Kemp is eligible to seek a second term in office, and has announced that he will run for re-election. There is speculation he may face a primary challenger after facing criticism from Donald Trump for refusing to overturn the election.
