Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter is a private golf club in Jupiter, Florida with a 7,242-yard (6,622 m) course designed by Jack Nicklaus. It is owned by Former President of the United States Donald Trump.

History

The club opened in 2002 as the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa. Trump purchased the property from Ritz-Carlton in December 2012 for $5 million.[1] Part of the purchase involved the assumption of $30 million in debt resulting from the club members’ refundable deposits.[2]

After purchasing the property, Trump was sued by former members, and eventually ordered to pay more than $5 million in February 2017.[3]

On February 11, 2017 the Golf Club was used by president Trump to host Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe.
