Goharbaran District (Persian: بخش گهرباران) is in Miandorud County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Tabaqdeh. Prior to the formation of the district, its constituent villages were in Miandorud-e Bozorg Rural District of the former Miandorud District of Sari County.[3]
The National Census in 2011 counted 15,763 people in 4,805 households,[4] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of the new Miandorud County.[3] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 14,750 inhabitants in 5,029 households.[2]
