The Algerian Constitution of 2016 is the fundamental law of Algeria. The proposed constitution was presented on 4 February 2016 by prime minister Abdelmalek Sellal.[1] and then adopted on 7 February 2016.[2] The 2016 Constitution replaces the 1996 Constitution.
