Clarissa Bowers (born October 27, 1997) is an American model, philanthropist, and beauty pageant titleholder. She won America's Miss World 2017 and represented the United States at Miss World 2017.[1]

Personal life

Bowers is currently obtaining a degree in neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Raised in a military family, she plans to become a reconstructive surgeon for wounded and scarred soldiers. She is an ambassador for Healing the Children, an international nonprofit that provides medical support and assistance to children in need due to financial or other circumstances. Bowers participates in the surgeries, medical consultations, and fundraising for the charity. In 2019, Bowers became the head of a postoperative patient care unit for Healing the Children.[2]

Pageantry

Bowers was crowned America's Miss World 2017 on August 13, 2017 and she competed at the Miss World 2017 pageant held on November 18, 2017 in Sanya, China and received the accolade of Judge's Choice ranking her in the Top 15.
