The Broken Anchor is the 70th volume in the Nancy Drew Stories series.

Plot summary

Nancy receives an invitation to the Sweet Spring Resort on Anchor island, Bahamas. Her father calls upon her assistance and she sends Bess and George down to Ancho Island to investigate why someone sent her (Nancy) plane tickets. Her father, Carson, is in Miami and is investigating an abandoned boat. They discover inside the boat are newspaper clippings of Nancy's former investigations.

Adaptation

The 20th installment in the Nancy Drew point-and-click adventure game series by Her Interactive, named Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships, is loosely based on the novel.
