The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security is an argentinean national body, dependent on the Executive Branch, which has the mission of serving citizens in the areas of its competence. It is part of the governmental administrative structure for the shaping and execution of public policies for work, employment and social security.

It proposes, designs, elaborates, administers and supervises the policies in all that is inherent to the relations and individual and collective conditions of work, to the legal regime of collective bargaining and of the professional associations of workers and employers, to employment, job training and social security.
