1989 studio album by The Jacksons
2300 Jackson Street is the sixteenth and final studio album by American group the Jacksons ,[ 4] and their final album for record label Epic , released in the United States on May 30, 1989 (see 1989 in music ).[ 5] [ 4]
This is the group's first and only album without lead singer Michael Jackson , who had left the group along with older brother, Marlon Jackson (although Michael and Marlon still appear on the title track).[ 6] Their final album peaked at No. 59 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 14 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and would sell over half a million copies worldwide.[ 7]
