WOHZ-CD is a Class A television station located in Mansfield, Ohio broadcasting a digital TV signal on Channel 20. Its signal is also offered to digital cable viewers in the Mansfield area.
WOHZ-CD offers local weather information, local advertising and an audio simulcast of co-owned WVNO-FM 106.1, along with various local sports events, public affairs and educational/informational programs.
The station is owned by Mid-State Television, Inc. headed by Gunther Meisse, who along with WVNO, also owns television station WMFD-TV and radio station WRGM (AM) 1440 / 106.7 FM.
WOHZ-CD is simulcast on WMFD-TV's 68.2 as a subchannel. It also broadcasts from the same tower as WMFD-TV.
WOHZ-CD was founded in 1989 as W50BE, but gained the call-sign of WOHZ-LP in late 1995, before being upgraded to a Class A station as WOHZ-CA. The station was licensed for digital operation on February 26, 2015, assuming the call sign WOHZ-CD.
