Murray is a suburb in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia.[2]

History

Murray is situated in the traditional Wulgurukaba Aboriginal country.[3] The origin of the suburb name is from Lieutenant Colonel Henry William Murray VC, with the place named on the 1 April 1969. [4]
