The Huuchid (Khalkha-Mongolian: Хуучид/Huuchid; simplified Chinese: 浩齐特部; traditional Chinese: 浩齊特部; "The old/ancient ones") are a Southern Mongol subgroup. The name probably derives from Mongolian word "huuchin," meaning "old/aged."
