Al-Aqsa Islamic Academy is an Islamic school located on 1501 N. Germantown Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19122. Al-Aqsa Islamic Academy is a private school from k-12 grade and an islamic center. It has been founded in 1996 and it is dedicated to bringing an excellent education to our muslim families as well as to educate people about Islam. Using the academic standards and curriculum of the Philadelphia School district, we also teach Arabic, Islamic Studies and the holy book of muslims; the Quran. We expect and encourage our students to have a successful academic record.

In 2004, the Al-Aqsa Islamic Society building received murals and decorative tiling. In 2006, volunteers added more decorative work to the building.[1]
