Avianca Argentina is an airline headquartered at Buenos Aires-Aeroparque, Argentina. It was founded in the March 2016, after the acquisition by Synergy Group of the regional airline Macair Jet.[2] It operates commercially as Avianca through a license agreement, however is independent of the Avianca Holdings group of Latin American airlines. Using the airline's two ATR 72 aircraft for charter flights over the course of 2017, scheduled services started in November 2017.[3]
Destinations
Pending approval by the civil aviation authorities, it shall operate passenger and cargo flights within Argentina and internationally from its primary hub at Teniente General Benjamín Matienzo International Airport in San Miguel de Tucumán.[4] Until then, its scheduled services operate from Buenos Aires-Aeroparque.

Fleet
Synergy Aerospace announced an order for the purchase of 12 firm ATR 72-600s, operated by Avian Líneas Aéreas under Avianca Argentina.[6] The first ATR72 was delivered on 13 January 2017.[7] The airline began operations in 2017.
