Baldwin Vista is a community and neighborhood next to the Baldwin Hills Mountains in the South region district of the city of Los Angeles, California. It is located in the western Baldwin Hills, and partially borders on Culver City.

Geography

Baldwin Vista's small population is diverse but primarily African-American, [citation needed] and affluent.

Baldwin Vista and other surrounding geographic features/places are named for the famous 19th century land baron and horse racing pioneer, Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin.

Notable People

Karen Bass, the U.S. Representative for California's 33rd congressional district, lives in Baldwin Vista.
