Coverage

[edit]

There are 74 pages in the category, no main article. Our lists of winners and repeat winners imply 80 biographies of Biography Pulitzer winners.

That is six pages missing from the category or equivalent mistakes including my clerical errors. To be continued. --P64 (talk) 21:22, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Now at 80 biographies, the category may provide complete coverage of bluelink Biography Pulitzer winners thru 2013, to be continued after a U.S. holiday. --P64 (talk) 21:49, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

80 biographies in the category does constitute complete coverage thru 2013. Namely,
97 years (1917-2013)
97 prizes (no award in 1962, split in 1938)
91 people (4 extras such as co-authors, 10 repeat winners --10 people who won two each)
80 biographies (11 redlinks)
Those 4 extra people represent 4 occasions when we link two collaborators as winners (1917, 1991, 2005, 2006). We identify three other assistants, one 1917 and two 1958; they do not have biographies, so counting them would increase the numbers of people and redlinks to 94 and 14 with no change to the bottom line.
