[edit]- Category:Video games based on Greek mythology to Category:Video games based on classical mythology – C2C. MClay1 (talk) 09:59, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose only this one. Replacing Greco-Roman by classical seems alright, but replacing Greek by classical is something different. Greek could be a subcategory of classical if needed. Marcocapelle (talk) 15:31, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Marcocapelle: Category:Video games based on Greek mythology covers the same ground as Category:Video games based on classical mythology though. There is currently no video game category covering Roman mythology, and Greek and Roman mythology are grouped together in every other medium because the mythologies are so similar and having them separate would lead to overlap. There are articles on video games based on Roman mythology that could go in this category. It seems neater to match all the others. I don't think there was a compelling reason for this category's naming to be different. MClay1 (talk) 23:27, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- Articles on video games based on Roman mythology can go in a separate category and Category:Video games based on classical mythology can be created as a parent category. Marcocapelle (talk) 04:15, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- They could but why do that just for video games and not other media? I think there's too much overlap. Anyway, I guess this needs a full discussion. MClay1 (talk) 06:53, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
