Christof Leng

Christof Leng (b. Friedberg, Hesse, September 14, 1975) is a German computer scientist and politician. As a founding member of the Pirate Party Germany, he became its first leader on September 10, 2006 and held the post until May 2007.[1]

Leng received his PhD in computer science at the Darmstadt University of Technology.[2] After that he was a visiting scholar at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley, California.

He was elected vice president of the German Informatics Society in 2012 and also serves as the speaker of the scientific staff advisory board.[3]
